DigiVote child safety standards
These are DigiVote’s publicly published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). DigiVote is an unofficial voter-pulse app for adults (voters 18 and older). It is not the Election Commission of India and is not a legal ballot.
Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM
DigiVote strictly prohibits any creation, upload, sharing, solicitation, or distribution of content that sexually exploits or abuses children, including CSAM and any other CSAE. That prohibition applies to profile photos, about text, notices, and any other user-visible content in DigiVote.
We do not allow DigiVote to be used to groom, exploit, or endanger minors. Users must be adults (18+). DigiVote is not directed at children.
How DigiVote limits risk
- Intended audience is adults 18 and older (voter-pulse use).
- There is no social feed, chat, or messaging network between strangers.
- Optional profile photos and short about text are the main user-generated content surfaces; they may be removed when we learn they violate these standards.
- We do not permit sexual content involving minors under any circumstance.
Reporting CSAE / CSAM
If you see content or behaviour in DigiVote that may involve CSAE or CSAM:
- Email pratapchittiboyna@zohomail.in with subject DigiVote CSAE / child safety report.
- Include the DigiVote mobile number or profile involved (if known), a description of what you saw, screenshots if safe to share, and the date/time.
- You may also use in-app Support / contact paths when available to raise safety concerns.
When DigiVote obtains actual knowledge of CSAM or other CSAE content, we will take appropriate action without undue delay, including removing the content and restricting or deleting the account. Where required by law, we will report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority (for example NCMEC CyberTipline or the relevant regional / Indian law-enforcement channel).
